Geovision announces its first deep-learning 4K HEVC-based smart camera with intelligent video analytics with in-camera face detection, tracking and face recognition (up to eight faces), human detection and intrusion detection for various security applications, especially for Video Surveillance System, Intrusion Detection System and Access Control System Applications.

Traditionally, video surveillance analysis has been limited by servers or the cloud due to CPU or GPU constraints, which are still late in time to provide real-time application analysis results. Using the Qualcomm® IP Camera Platform, with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon ™ 650 processor and IntelliVision's video analysis algorithm, the smart camera fundamentally changes the mode of video capture, analysis and distribution. Video analysis features such as face recognition, human detection and intrusion detection can operate on multiple channels in real time.
